Egypt shines at the Anuga World Food Exhibition in Germany with the participation of 105 innovative companies
An exceptional and impressive Egyptian participation took place at the “Anouga” Global Food Industries Exhibition, breaking records with the numbers achieved. More than 105 leading Egyptian food industries companies have participated in this exceptional event so far.
This exhibition, which will take place in Germany from October 7th to 10th, is considered one of the largest international gatherings for the food industry.
The Export Council for Food Industries has affirmed its determination to organize a series of professional training programs and online seminars aimed at discussing the needs and requirements of the European market. The European market is considered one of the most crucial markets witnessing a growing demand for Egyptian products, which are highly popular among Arab countries.
Anuga Exhibition in Germany and the participation of Egyptian companies
The council has emphasized that as part of these efforts, several training programs will be held during the current and upcoming two months, with a special focus on the promising market for Egyptian companies.
Among these programs, we find the BRC Brand Reputation through Compliment Standard, which will take place from July 16th to July 18th.
These programs are considered one of the requirements by the Food Safety Authority to gain access to several important markets, including the European markets, in addition to providing various other training programs.
These initiatives come within the context of a seminar organized by the council in collaboration with the Trade Development and Export Promotion Project in Egypt, affiliated with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The seminar was titled “Mechanisms for Applying the Requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Exporting Food Industry Products to the United States of America.”
The council emphasized the importance of discussing the requirements of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as part of its keen interest in expanding exports to the American market, which is considered the largest consumer market in the world.
He pointed out that the council has organized in recent days a series of seminars and training programs, with the aim of assisting companies in achieving success in entering this sustainable and promising market.
These initiatives came in conjunction with the participation of over 38 leading Egyptian companies in the “Fancy Food” exhibition last month, where their products received significant demand and great admiration.
